Job Description
As a Cyber Risk Analyst, you will play a crucial role in assessing and mitigating potential threats and vulnerabilities to information and operational systems. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive, structured cyber risk assessments to identify threats, vulnerabilities, and impacts.
- Providing recommendations for enhancing security measures and reducing risk exposure.
- Developing risk mitigation strategies and controls to address identified vulnerabilities.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to assign appropriate risk levels and priorities for remediation.
- Working closely with internal and external teams to evaluate the effectiveness of existing security controls.
- Maintaining accurate records of risk assessments, findings, and mitigation efforts.
- Preparing detailed reports outlining the current risk landscape, emerging risks, and recommended actions for the Head of Risk Management.
In terms of technical skills, you should have:
- A deep understanding of cyber risk management concepts, threat actors, and security controls.
- The ability to recommend technical controls at various layers and translate technical vulnerability information into business risk statements.
- Strong communication skills to interact with technical colleagues and business stakeholders effectively.
Qualifications essential for this role include:
- Proven experience in cyber security risk assessment and management.
- Hands-on technical experience in IT (Cyber Risk) or OT roles.
- Knowledge of risk management frameworks, cyber security principles, and best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
