Role Overview: As a Test Automation Lead for large complex projects in AGILE methodology, you will be responsible for developing a test automation strategy. Your role will involve designing and executing automation test cases using HP QTP, Selenium, and Cucumber tools, specifically for API web services. You will collaborate with product line stakeholders to develop strategies and frameworks, drive innovation, and work with the development team on automated testing tools. Your deep understanding of SDLC processes will be crucial in ensuring quality assurance. Key Responsibilities: - Provide Test Automation management, leadership, and technical guidance to Testing teams. - Define Automated Testing Strategies, select the right set of tools, and develop testing frameworks. - Collaborate with tech leads across squads to identify automation opportunities and create Automation suite/scripts. - Design and implement functional tests to ensure coverage of expected and unexpected behavior. - Actively seek opportunities to utilize central Automation testing services. Qualification Required: - Proficient understanding of SWIFT formats, HTTP request/response, REST API, XML, JSON. - Hands-on exposure to unit-testing frameworks like Junit. - Experience in Test automation framework using JAVA and BDD Automation. - Ability to improve efficiency by identifying and automating test cases. - Understanding of OOPs concepts and experience in programming languages such as Java, C#, Ruby, Python, TypeScript. - Familiarity with Test Automation Frameworks like Page Object Model, Keyword driven, Data driven, Hybrid. - Experience in Test Automation in Agile/DevOps using BDD/ATDD with tools like Cucumber, SpecFlow, Jbehave, PyTestBDD. - Good understanding of Service layer architecture testing techniques & tools: RESTful API or any other relevant tool.
