Technical Manager/Sr. Manager Software Development

You will be providing hands-on leadership to teams of engineers and senior engineers, overseeing their development efforts and ensuring the delivery of scalable, high-quality software solutions for clean energy platforms. Additionally, you will contribute directly to architectural design and development activities, establish and enforce software development standards, partner with cross-functional stakeholders, recruit and mentor engineering talent, oversee resource allocation, and collaborate with senior leadership to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Also, you will ensure that developed software adheres to cybersecurity best practices and compliance requirements.

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field; Master's degree preferred
• 10+ years of professional software development experience
• 5+ years of progressive engineering management experience
• Deep technical expertise in software development technologies such as C#, .NET, Python, Java
• Proficiency with modern database technologies and strong understanding of data modeling and architecture
• Strong understanding of full software development lifecycle, CI/CD pipelines, and quality assurance processes
• Demonstrated ability to manage performance expectations and maintain high standards for technical excellence
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Experience building and scaling high-performing engineering teams

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in designing and scaling time-series data systems
• Experience in the energy, utilities, IoT, or SaaS sectors
• Familiarity with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native application development
• Experience with monitoring, observability, and site reliability engineering practices
• Understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks
