Job Description
As a Technical Data Analyst at Addepar, you will be responsible for performing data migration, conversion, and validation projects for clients. Your role will involve utilizing existing tools and processes to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of projects. You will be expected to have a good understanding of financial portfolio data, foundational Python programming skills, and excellent communication abilities.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Convert, migrate, and validate data from external and internal sources using defined processes and workflows
- Complete data projects on time while maintaining high quality standards
- Communicate regularly with project teams, providing status updates and setting expectations effectively
- Run Python ETL scripts, troubleshoot, modify, or debug as necessary
- Identify and escalate key issues to project team members and senior leadership
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to project management processes
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and automation
**Qualifications Required:**
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in technology and finance
- Experience collaborating with global teams
- Proficiency in Python programming and ETL concepts
- Domain experience in wealth/portfolio/investment management
- Strong knowledge of financial markets, products, and portfolio data
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Solution-oriented with a passion for problem-solving
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and focused on process efficiency
- Positive attitude, proactive, and a strong team player
- Ability to work independently, adapt to changes, and operate with minimal supervision
