Technical Controller - CA

As a Technical Controller at a reputed and diversified organization in Bangalore, you will be responsible for the following: Role Overview: You will be utilizing your expertise as a Chartered Accountant with 12-15 years of experience to provide technical accounting guidance, ensure financial reporting accuracy, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: - Research, interpret, and document complex accounting treatments under Ind AS / IFRS / US GAAP. - Draft comprehensive technical memos and accounting position papers. - Formulate official accounting positions on significant transactions and matters. - Ensure accurate recording in books with full compliance to the accounting literature. - Support financial statements preparation with correct disclosures and clean audit outcomes. - Provide accounting guidance on new business transactions, contracts, M&A, restructuring, etc. - Work closely with business controllers, tax, legal, treasury, and other functions. - Lead implementation of new accounting standards and train finance teams on technical updates. Qualification Required: - Chartered Accountant (CA) with 12-15 years of strong technical accounting exposure. - Background in Big 4 or large corporate controllership. - Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills required. - Ability to simplify complex accounting concepts for business partners.
