**Job Description:** As a Data Analyst at [Company Name], you will be responsible for performing high level and detailed data analysis of financial data from private equity clients. This will involve aligning the data from various sources such as General Ledger systems, Excel spreadsheets, and proprietary or legacy systems to the CapAssure data formats and database structures. You will also define relevant test scenarios, perform functional testing on new features, changes in functionalities, or new reports, and document the results from test cases for comparison with expected outcomes. Your role will require an in-depth understanding of the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and experience in facilitating and supporting the full SDLC process. You should be able to independently write detailed SQL scripts to extract logical information from the CapAssure data model and present effective data analyses to both Product and Client Service teams. Additionally, you must be proficient in performing data analysis using MS Excel, including utilizing mathematical and functional techniques such as pivots and advanced filtering methods. Furthermore, you will be responsible for writing SQL scripts to stage system configuration updates based on client requested changes, executing, maintaining, and enhancing existing SQL queries, and ensuring that configuration changes adhere to business requirements. Your role will also involve creating test cases for end-to-end verification of accounting and financial artifacts and workflows, providing end-user support for data analyses, reporting, and system changes, and working on systems and acceptance testing. **Candidate Qualifications:** To be successful in this role, you should have five to seven years of experience in a related role and possess a bachelor's degree in management information systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
