Job Description

Role Overview:

You will be working as a Requirements Engineer (Technical-Business Analyst) in a banking environment, where you will need a strong balance of business understanding, IT knowledge, and communication skills. Your responsibilities will include capturing and translating business needs into high-level technical requirements, collaborating with team members and vendors to design and develop software, and ensuring application compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand and capture business needs, analyze requirements, and translate them into high-level technical requirements.
  • Support Product Owners and Project Managers in backlog refinement and prioritization.
  • Mentor the Systems Integration Testing team to capture Functional requirements and review testing results.
  • Contribute towards good software design and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Independently analyze Python code, collaborate with team members to achieve Sprint objectives, and manage individual task priorities and deliverables.
  • Responsible for the quality of solutions provided and contribute to planning and continuous improvement activities.

Qualifications Required:

Must have:

  • Expertise in Finance domain and banking regulation, with a strong technological background.
  • Good understanding of Private Banking, payments, lending, wealth management, compliance, and regulatory reporting domains.
  • Excellent attention to detail, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Big Data / GCP Technology stack Big Query, Cloud SQL, Hive.
  • Proficient in SQL queries and functions, Microsoft Excel for data analysis, and Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.

Nice to have:

  • Basic knowledge of Unix and SAS Mainframe, German language skills, Data warehouse Management, and banking regulation.
