As an experienced Technical Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in leading the design and delivery of an advanced analytics and valuation platform used in Private Equity and financial valuations. Your responsibilities will span technical leadership, hands-on development, and collaboration with domain experts and stakeholders. **Responsibilities:** - **Technical Leadership:** - Lead a cross-functional engineering team comprising backend, frontend, and data specialists. - Take ownership of system architecture and make critical technical design decisions. - Establish and enforce engineering standards related to code quality, performance, security, and scalability. - Provide mentorship to engineers and conduct technical reviews. - Promote best practices in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), testing, and observability. - **Hands-On Development:** - Design and implement backend services using .NET (C#). - Create modern, user-centric interfaces utilizing the React framework. - Develop and optimize Graph Database models to represent intricate ownership, fund, and valuation relationships. - Ensure efficient querying and analytics over interconnected financial data. - Collaborate on API design, encompassing both REST and GraphQL principles. - **Domain & Stakeholder Collaboration:** - Collaborate closely with Private Equity and Valuation experts, Business Analysts, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to translate business requirements into technical solutions. - Participate in data modeling for ownership structures, financial instruments, and valuation methodologies, ensuring data accuracy, transparency, and auditability. **Mandatory Skills:** **Technical:** - 10+ years of hands-on experience in .NET Full Stack development. - 4+ years of experience in managing development teams in a Team Lead capacity. - 3+ years of experience in delivering UI solutions using the React framework. - Proven expertise with Graph Databases (Cypher, Gremlin, graph modeling, traversal algorithms). - Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases. - Strong understanding of software architecture patterns. - People Management experience. - Familiarity with cloud environments, preferably AWS. - Proficient in CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and modern software engineering practices. **Leadership:** - Demonstrated experience in leading engineering teams. - Ability to balance hands-on development with leadership responsibilities. - Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. **Business:** - Experience in Private Equity, Asset Management, Valuations, or Financial Analytics. - Knowledge of financial modeling or valuation concepts such as DCF, multiples, and NAV. **Nice-to-Have Skills:** - Experience in data-intensive or real-time processing environments. - Background in data visualization or analytical platforms. - Exposure to regulatory or audit-related systems.
