Your key responsibilities will include: - Managing multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced, results-driven environment - Communicating risks and control issues clearly to both technologists and non-technologists - Understanding retail and investment banking domain, technology setup, and technology-enabled business risks - Analyzing and responding to internal and external events related to Technology & Cyber - Demonstrating excellent analytical and methodical approach - Solving unstructured problems creatively - Networking and establishing rapport with global internal colleagues - Influencing and negotiating with stakeholders at all levels - Making independent decisions and influencing upwards - Challenging effectively on underlying risk management - Adapting and working across various time zones Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science - Equivalent work experience in relevant industry with a strong background in risk management, technology, and information security - Experience in assessing design and operating effectiveness of technology controls - Experience with IT risk frameworks such as COBIT5, COSO, NIST - Hands-on experience with information technology risks, controls, and risk remediation - Experience using industry-wide GRC tools Desirable qualifications include: - Reviewing Audit findings, self-identified issues, and breaches to align with operational risk and regulatory requirements - Advising IT on meeting regulatory mandated technology controls and risk reduction - Relevant professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, PMP or equivalent As a Tech Risk & Control Analyst, you will be expected to assess the integrity and effectiveness of the bank's internal control framework. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with stakeholders, identifying weaknesses in internal controls, developing reports, and ensuring adherence to the Barclays Controls Framework. In this role, you are accountable for: - Assessing risk in business areas, products, processes, and platforms - Collaborating with stakeholders to improve control effectiveness - Identifying and investigating potential weaknesses in internal controls - Developing reports to communicate key findings from risk assessments - Reviewing the bank's internal controls framework and ensuring adherence to policies and best practices You will be expected to demonstrate leadership qualities, technical expertise, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
