Systems Administrator II

As a high-level technical resource at Cision, your primary responsibility will be to administer, develop, and maintain Jira, Jira Service Manager, and Confluence. You will be supporting the full life cycle of the ITSM platform implementation, development, integrations, and processes. Your role will involve gathering, documenting, and analyzing business and technical requirements to enhance system capabilities, user experience, and automate process flows. **Key Responsibilities:** - Serve as a subject matter expert for Atlassian products, particularly Jira, Jira Service Manager, and Confluence. - Administer, develop, and manage Jira, Jira Service Manager, and Confluence. - Manage platform enhancements and design workflows. - Configure Atlassian products to align with IT Service Management policy, processes, and procedures. - Gather requirements for new functionality, reports, and automation. - Develop, test, and deploy business rules and scripts based on IT and business requirements. - Administer the ITSM platform user interface, workflows, plugins, and branding. - Manage ITSM users, groups, roles, and service catalog items. - Identify integration requirements with external systems and automate IT processes. - Administer ITSM applications, update security configurations, import data, and build reports. - Maintain system performance, troubleshoot issues, and escalate as needed. - Implement and manage social IT functionality within the platform. - Produce reports and dashboards and recommend improvements. - Ensure policies are reflected in platform administration and work closely with IT service owners for solution delivery. - Configure and implement ITSM scripts for business rules and client scripts. **Qualifications:** - Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school. - Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role with a company of at least 5,000 employees. - 5+ years of experience administrating, developing, and supporting Atlassian applications. - Intermediate knowledge of ITIL and IT support processes. - Experience with ITSM API configuration, scripting, data migration tools, and reporting. - Strong working knowledge of various ITSM applications and modules.
