System Admin

As an IT System Administrator at our company, your role will involve installing and configuring software, hardware, and networks. You will be responsible for setting up accounts and workstations for users, configuring servers and networking devices, and ensuring system security by installing firewalls and antivirus software. Your key responsibilities will include: - Providing technical support for users and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues - Responding to and resolving helpdesk requests - Managing user permissions and roles - Troubleshooting network issues and ensuring network availability - Implementing security protocols and compliance with company policies - Monitoring cybersecurity threats and mitigating risks - Managing data security and optimizing system performance - Researching and recommending new technologies - Documenting all IT processes and maintaining records of changes - Managing IT budgets and resources In addition to the above responsibilities, you will be required to have the following skills and qualifications: - Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux environments - Hands-on experience with servers, networks, and virtualization - Knowledge of system security, backup and recovery tools, and Active Directory - Experience with cloud services is desirable - Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to analyze system logs - Excellent communication and multitasking abilities To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in system or network administration.
