Job Description
Role Overview:
You will be responsible for driving the strategic execution of transformation initiatives across Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) and Operational Resilience, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations from the PRA, FCA, EBA, and DORA. Your role will involve leading the strategic programme delivery, applying deep knowledge of TPRM frameworks, driving regulatory remediation activities, overseeing execution, stakeholder engagement, change enablement, governance & reporting, and identifying opportunities for innovation & continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the execution of the strategic roadmap for TPRM and Operational Resilience, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements from PRA, FCA, EBA, and DORA
- Apply deep knowledge of TPRM frameworks to guide solution design and execution
- Ensure strategic alignment between third-party risk, operational resilience, supply chain intelligence strategy, and enterprise risk management frameworks
- Drive remediation efforts for regulatory gaps, including uplift of contractual terms, ICT service identification, register remediation, and alignment with Critical and Important Functions (CIFs)
- Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring timely delivery of milestones, KPIs, and business outcomes
- Act as a senior point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership, and third-party partners
- Lead organisational change initiatives to embed resilience and third-party risk awareness across business units
- Establish and manage programme governance structures and executive reporting mechanisms
- Identify and implement opportunities for automation, process optimisation, and technology enablement using tools such as Power Apps, Copilot, and AI-driven analytics
Qualifications Required:
- 15+ years in financial services, with at least the last 5 years in senior risk, resilience, or transformation roles
- Deep expertise in Third Party Risk Management, including due diligence, control assessments, monitoring, and exit strategies
- Strong understanding of Operational Resilience principles and regulatory frameworks (PRA SS2/21, FCA PS21/3, EBA Guidelines, DORA)
- Proven track record in leading large-scale transformation programmes within financial services, with a focus on third-party risk and resilience
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans and deliver measurable outcomes
- Strong governance capabilities, including oversight of risk reporting, performance metrics, and regulatory compliance
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Skilled in leading cross-functional teams and fostering collaboration across the three lines of defence Role Overview:
