Staff Software Engineer, Python, React & Cloud

Role Overview: You will be responsible for architecting and designing a cloud native GenAI/UX platform in collaboration with other Architects. The team you will be a part of consists of 30+ global associates and is expected to expand rapidly. In addition to your architectural duties, you will also be expected to mentor junior and mid-level software associates in the team. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and oversee the design and development of scalable, AI-enabled applications using Python. - Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of solutions, focusing on seamless integration, scalability, and performance. - Design and maintain robust backend services using Python (e.g., FastAPI) with a keen emphasis on performance and security. - Develop user-friendly front-end interfaces using React.js to provide smooth user experiences. - Implement best practices to create secure, cloud-native solutions aligned with practical use cases on Azure Cloud. - Evaluate existing systems and suggest architectural improvements with detailed technical design documentation. - Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to translate business requirements into technical solutions. - Conduct technical design walkthroughs and gather actionable feedback from stakeholders. - Plan and execute comprehensive testing strategies, including automation and performance testing. - Provide production support, including real-time debugging and root cause analysis. - Ensure system stability through proactive monitoring and long-term fixes. - Effectively manage task priorities within Agile frameworks. - Stay updated on emerging AI/ML technologies and industry trends. - Drive innovation by exploring new tools and techniques to enhance scalability and performance. - Adhere to company policies, including flexibility in work location and team assignments. Qualifications Required: - 10 - 13 years of experience in Python, Node JS, React JS, Design Patterns, Data structures, Restful Web services, Ajax, SQL programming. - Extensive experience in Full-stack development using Python with React.js and backend APIs. - Proficiency with APIs and event-driven architecture (Kafka, Redis). - Demonstrated expertise in optimizing performance for real-time systems. - Solid understanding of microservices and service-oriented architecture. - Familiarity with AI/ML techniques such as NLP, computer vision, and LLMs. - Experience throughout the software development lifecycle. - Ability to utilize and guide teams in adopting coding assistants like GitHub Copilot for improved productivity and code quality. - Experience in building AI agents is a plus. - Thorough knowledge and interest in Cloud native architecture, Distributed micro-services & Micro-Frontends, Multi-tenant SaaS solution, Cloud Scalability, performance, and High availability. - Understanding of technical architectures, capacity plans, tool requirements, automation plans, product launch plans, and other deliverables. - Ability to foster a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, creative problem-solving, and innovation within the team. - Profound understanding of JavaScript patterns and challenges in creating maintainable JavaScript applications. - Exposure to latest technologies such as Kafka, Akka, Storm, Spark/Flink, GraphQL. - Strong grasp of software design principles. - Experience in developing large, scalable applications deployed on the cloud. - Proficiency in using Git for complex software systems with teams. - Passion for learning new tools, languages, and frameworks. - Excellent communication skills. - Familiarity with agile test-driven development with continuous integration. - Experience with DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, and infrastructure automation. - Strong understanding of secure architectures, secure configuration, identity management, requirements analysis, and solution design. - Willingness to provide on-call support when necessary.
