Staff Software Engineer Python & Golang

As a Staff Machine Learning Software Engineer at AI Services, you will be a key player in building solutions around Generative AI and Machine Learning (ML) capabilities to enhance user experience and workflow efficiency in enterprise services. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining tools and services for customers to create, test, and deploy custom skills and prompts, ensuring seamless integration with other ServiceNow products and external LLM providers like Gemini Azure and AWS. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: - Build high-quality, clean, scalable, and reusable code while following best practices in software engineering architecture and processes such as code reviews and unit testing. - Collaborate with product owners to understand detailed requirements and take ownership of the code from design to implementation, test automation, and delivery. - Design user-friendly software that allows customers to extend and customize functionality as needed. - Contribute to designing and implementing new products and features as well as enhancing the existing product suite. Qualifications required for this role include: - Experience in integrating AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. - 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's or Master's degree. - Hands-on Python development experience with strong problem-solving skills. - Solid understanding of Cloud technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. - Proficiency in CI/CD, Cloud, and Infrastructure tooling. - Knowledge of at least one additional programming language like Go lang, JavaScript, or AngularJS. - Ability to adapt quickly and tackle new challenges in an agile manner. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain Python and/or Go Lang based applications focusing on efficiency and scalability. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement Cloud solutions using Docker and Kubernetes. - Utilize expertise in object-oriented programming languages to enhance application functionality. - Demonstrate agility in addressing new challenges effectively. - Experience in prompt engineering for crafting, testing, and optimizing prompts. - Expertise in building, maintaining, and improving Distributed Systems. - Knowledge of building applications & systems with LLMs. - Proficiency or experience in VoIP systems, PBX configurations, telecommunications service providers, and associated telephony tools is advantageous.
