Staff Data Scientist Healthcare

As a Staff Data Scientist at Anblicks, your role involves hands-on development of advanced machine learning solutions within the healthcare domain. You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable healthcare analytics products for global clients. Your responsibilities will include technical leadership, healthcare modeling and advanced analytics, product development and operationalization, as well as ensuring quality, governance, and compliance in healthcare data assets. Key Responsibilities: - Lead evaluation and experimentation of alternate or additive modeling techniques. - Take ownership of key product components and coordinate between product, data science, and engineering teams. - Contribute to documentation, performance improvement, and maintenance of models. - Develop a strong working knowledge of data pipelines and modeling workflows. - Combine healthcare domain expertise with ML/AI knowledge to build high-performing predictive models. - Validate and enhance healthcare data products and analytical solutions. - Apply advanced statistical and machine learning algorithms such as GLM, Decision Trees, Boosting, Bagging, SVM, Regression, Clustering, etc. - Execute model training, hyperparameter tuning, validation, and evaluation. - Contribute to deployment and lifecycle management of ML models. - Collaborate with product teams to define project requirements, data sources, and modeling approaches. - Identify and define KPIs aligned with business goals and product economics. - Work closely with engineering and platform teams to ensure seamless data integration and model deployment. - Suggest automation and process improvements. - Support closed-loop measurement and performance tracking frameworks. - Monitor model performance and optimize as needed. - Perform analysis, maintenance, and upgrades of existing models. - Ensure compliance with healthcare data regulations (e.g., HIPAA). - Support QA processes and governance controls for healthcare data assets. Required Qualifications: - 79 years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Advanced Analytics. - 5+ years of experience in the Healthcare domain working with healthcare datasets. - Strong analytical skills and experience working with large, diverse datasets. - Hands-on expertise in ML algorithms and statistical modeling techniques. - Strong experience in model training, evaluation, and hyperparameter tuning. - Experience deploying ML models into production environments. - Experience building ETL pipelines and data transformation workflows. - Experience working in Big Data or Cloud environments such as AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, or similar platforms. - Proficiency in Python, R, Scala, Spark/PySpark, H2O, or similar technologies. - Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business insights. - Bachelors degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related quantitative field. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Deep Learning and Neural Networks. - Knowledge of containerized deployment (Docker, Kubernetes). - Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow or Kubeflow. - Experience in consulting-led healthcare analytics engagements. - Masters degree in Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or related field. - Experience with H2O or similar ML platforms.
