As an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Jenkins Declarative Pipelines, your role will involve designing, implementing, and optimizing robust CI/CD workflows and cloud infrastructure. You should be able to work independently with technical maturity and deliver end-to-end solutions effectively. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, focusing on Declarative Pipeline syntax. - Automate deployment, scaling, and lifecycle management of applications across various GCP services such as GKE, Cloud Run, Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, VPC, and Cloud Functions. - Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications into CI/CD pipelines and the GCP environment. - Implement and manage logging, monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions for applications and cloud infrastructure. - Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance standards within the GCP ecosystem. - Document processes, configurations, architectural decisions, and operational runbooks. - Stay updated with the evolving GCP capabilities, DevOps tooling, and industry best practices. **Qualifications Required:** - GCP Expertise with hands-on, production-grade experience. - 5+ years of SRE experience (9+ years preferred). - Ability to work independently with strong ownership and delivery maturity. - Advanced proficiency in Jenkins (Declarative Pipelines). - Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts, tooling, and automation practices.
