Sr Solution Architect - Global Solutions Engineering

As a Solution Engineer at Tata Communications, your role will involve providing support for solution design, development, and implementation for specific business opportunities in areas such as Network, SDWAN, Cloud & Security, Unified Collaboration, Mobility & IoT, and other domains. You may lead important projects by guiding project team members to ensure the delivery of quality outcomes. Your responsibilities will include: - Providing solutioning support to sales teams in the region/function. - Supporting the bid team in preparing responses to the technical aspects of RFP. - Understanding pricing mechanisms and assisting the sales team in building commercial inputs. - Preparing technical sales materials like collateral, quotations, timelines, project plans, and solution proposals. - Collaborating with teams such as Product, Engineering, and various cross-functional teams to create the required solutions to enhance the service offering. - Creating Use cases and BOQ documents. - Providing L4 support to Operations for any design or repeated issues requiring Engineering intervention. - Conducting POCs, demos as per customer requirements, designing migration plans, and supporting project management in generating project implementation plans. - Holding periodic sessions with identified partners to understand new product features that would benefit customers and their product roadmap. Desired Skill sets: - Ability to understand business goals and map them to technical requirements. - Exposure to working on RFP cases. - Knowledge of creating High-Level Designs (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD). - Good understanding of use cases and the ability to create solutions related to the use cases. - Proficiency with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio). - Understanding of technology and services related to the domain.
