As a Senior Software Engineer in our team, you will be responsible for architecting and delivering full-stack digital products using AI-assisted development tools. Your role will involve owning backend systems, shaping frontend experiences, making infrastructure decisions, and setting a higher engineering standard for the team. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Product and Client Ownership:** You will be the day-to-day technical owner on engagements, understanding the client's business deeply, shaping the product roadmap, and translating ambiguous problems into clear engineering direction. You will be required to defend tradeoffs and flag risks early during demos and reviews. - **Architecture and Judgment:** Making architectural decisions that hold up at scale will be crucial. Your role involves deciding what gets built, how it fits together, and when to push back. You will evaluate tradeoffs, review TRDs, and set the technical direction for the team. - **Full-stack Execution:** You will be responsible for shipping backend services, APIs, database schemas, and user-facing features end-to-end. Utilizing AI-assisted tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, and Antigravity, you will maintain speed without compromising on quality. - **Platform and Reliability:** Owning cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and production systems will be part of your responsibilities. Defining how the team monitors, debugs, and responds to incidents is vital. Being prepared for 2 am incidents is a key aspect of this role. - **AI and Automation:** Driving AI adoption in products is essential. You will work on LLM APIs, RAG pipelines, and agentic workflows. Automation across client and internal workflows will be a focus, understanding the strengths and limitations of these tools. - **Raising the Bar:** Acting as a judgment layer for junior engineers using AI tools, you will review code for correctness, scalability, and comprehension. Conducting knowledge-sharing sessions and effective onboarding are also part of your responsibilities. **Qualifications Required:** - 3-5 years of professional engineering experience with end-to-end ownership of production systems. - Active experience with AI IDEs such as Cursor, Claude Code, Antigravity, or similar tools. - Demonstrated system design ability with a focus on making architectural decisions and evaluating trade-offs. - Good exposure to cloud platforms and deployments along with familiarity with observability and monitoring tools. - Deep backend proficiency including API design, databases, microservices, distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and message brokers. - Worked with at least two of REST, GraphQL, or gRPC in production. - Eye for design and a commitment to building great user experiences. - High rate of learning and ability to quickly adapt. **Nice to Have:** - Cloud architecture experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, containerization, and orchestration. - Familiarity with AI/ML technologies such as prompt engineering, embeddings, and agent frameworks like LangChain, CrewAI, and LangGraph. - Experience with automation and workflow tools like n8n, Make, and Zapier.
