Job Description
As a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer with a strong product and systems mindset, you will play a crucial role in defining optimal automation plans in alignment with product release timelines. Your collaboration with developers and QA engineers will be essential in the development and maintenance of Automated Test frameworks and systems. You will have the opportunity to learn new automation tools and contribute to the future automation framework development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Automated Test frameworks and systems.
- Perform exploratory testing on web and mobile platforms to ensure high-quality releases.
- Review automation code and provide suggestions for improvement.
- Analyze user needs and software requirements to ensure design feasibility within time and cost constraints.
- Utilize appropriate testing tools for both front-end and back-end Quality Assurance.
- Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to implement effective testing strategies.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues across platforms, conducting detailed root cause analysis.
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage across browsers, devices, and operating systems.
Qualifications Required:
- 5+ years of strong experience in automation testing using Cypress, Playwright, Selenium/WebDriver, with Selenium WebDriver API programming experience.
- Proficiency in languages such as Java, Javascript, or Typescript.
- Ability to perform automated testing against Web application UI and RESTful services.
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to estimate effort, and meet commitments.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI).
- Working knowledge and experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Git.
- Quick ability to learn and master internal frameworks.
- Experience in Performance/Load/Accessibility testing.
