Sr. Associate Settlement and Recon Product Manager

As a Senior Associate, Product Manager in Connected Commerce on the Wallet and Lending Innovation team at our company, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of payment platforms and driving innovative thinking to enhance customer experiences. Your responsibilities will include: - Supporting the definition and management of the product line roadmap, contributing to the vision and strategy of the product/platform. - Collaborating with engineering teams to design and deliver technical products such as APIs, data models, and data processing pipelines. - Writing clear and detailed product requirements and user stories, translating business needs into technical specifications. - Partnering closely with Technology, Design, and Analytics teams to ensure alignment and support product development efforts. - Contributing to the design and implementation of robust Settlement and Reconciliation platforms, services, and data pipelines to ensure accuracy and reliability in payment processing and reporting. - Assisting with product backlog creation and grooming, supporting agile product delivery, launch, and go-to-market strategies, production support, issue resolution, and prioritization. - Navigating and executing within a large, complex organization, structuring problems, and driving alignment across multiple teams. - Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders across various teams and facilitating effective communication and collaboration. - Monitoring progress against goals, identifying enhancement paths, and supporting remediation plans when needed. - Collaborating with cross-functional partners to ensure a strong risk and controls environment. Qualifications required for this role include: - 3+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on technical products such as APIs, databases, or data processing. - Experience in the financial technology or payments industry, with a strong understanding of payment flows, digital wallets, and money movement. - Ability to work effectively in large, highly matrixed organizations, navigating ambiguity and structuring complex problems. - Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams. - Passion for understanding customer needs and building scalable platforms. - Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. - Knowledge of APIs, engineering practices, and the product development lifecycle using Agile methodologies. - Experience with risk and controls management. - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Preferred qualifications include a background in Fintech or payment platform experience, expertise in building and scaling Settlement and Reconciliation platforms within payment or financial services environments, and supporting solutions for accurate transaction settlement, reconciliation, and reporting.
