As a Software Consultant at PTC, you will be a key member of the Kepware Development team in Pune, focusing on the SaaS product offering of Kepware+. Your role involves leading the development of new features, guiding junior staff, and ensuring the use of modern software techniques and best practices. Your problem-solving skills and passion for software development will contribute to building great products and improving technical skills continuously. Key Responsibilities: - Designing, developing, and maintaining responsive and interactive web applications using modern front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js. - Collaborating with UX/UI designers, product managers, and backend developers to implement visually appealing user interfaces. - Ensuring cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and adherence to web standards. - Optimizing application performance for speed and scalability. - Participating in code reviews, providing feedback, and upholding best practices. - Integrating RESTful APIs and data-driven components with backend teams. - Mentoring junior developers and contributing to team skill development. - Staying updated on emerging web technologies, frameworks, and design trends. - Contributing to the evolution of design systems and component libraries for consistent user experience. Basic Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related STEM field. - 10+ years of experience in professional software development of web/mobile UI development. - Expertise in web/mobile UI frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, Lit, Aurelia. - Strong skills in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. - Experience with Issue Tracking software and Unit Testing Frameworks. - Excellent troubleshooting skills and understanding of UI/UX principles. - Knowledge of performance optimization techniques and security best practices in web development. - Cross-browser and cross-device compatibility knowledge. Preferred Experience: - Working with Azure IoT Edge/Hub for hybrid cloud solutions. - Experience with distributed cloud environments, containerization, Kubernetes, and Azure services. - Experience with the Aurelia development framework and agile team collaboration. - Ability to mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce coding standards.
