Software Solution Architect - Cloud

As a member of the PI Technology Business Intelligence & Analytics Data Platforms support team, your role will involve providing administration and platform support to our Development teams during the deployment of new Cloud applications. Your responsibilities will include optimizing code and data access to minimize monthly AWS chargeback costs. Key Responsibilities: - Designing, structuring, optimizing, implementing, and maintaining public cloud (AWS) infrastructures and Big Data Environments. - Administering and providing technical guidance on Data Platforms, establishing Environment standards and Development Best Practices for migrating workloads from on-prem environments to AWS. - Implementing and maintaining AWS solutions utilizing EC2, S3, RDS, Redshift, Snowflake, Application Load Balancer, Cloud Watch, and other supporting cloud technologies. - Building environments through automation and configuration management tools such as Cloud Formation/Terraform and Ansible/Puppet. Qualifications Required: - High level of Knowledge and extensive hands-on experience in AWS infrastructure design and maintenance. - Proficiency in working with public cloud environments and Big Data technologies. - Experience with automation and configuration management tools for cloud environments.
