As a Senior QA Engineer at Cisco, you will be a part of the founding QA team responsible for ensuring Ciscos multi-cloud networking platform is production-ready for the Early 2026 Alpha launch. Your role will involve architecting test automation frameworks, validating complex distributed systems across AWS, Azure, and GCP, and ensuring that MCN networking services meet the highest quality standards. **Key Responsibilities:** - Build Test Automation Frameworks: Design scalable test frameworks using Python with Pytest, Robot Framework, or Selenium - E2E Networking Tests: Create sophisticated tests for IPsec tunnels, BGP routing, AutoVPN mesh, and cross-cloud connectivity - Multi-Cloud Quality Assurance: Ensure consistent behavior and performance across AWS, Azure, and GCP deployments - Scale Testing: Design and execute scale tests to validate production traffic loads across regional deployments - AI-Powered Testing: Build MCP servers and AI agents that generate intelligent test cases, detect anomalies, and provide automated root cause analysis - CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated tests into GitHub Actions pipelines for continuous validation **Qualifications Required:** - 8-12 years of QA automation experience building test suites - Proficiency in Python for test automation and tooling - Experience with test frameworks such as Pytest, Robot Framework, Selenium, or Cypress - Strong networking knowledge including TCP/IP, routing, and VPN concepts - Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP in a production environment - Proficiency in API testing including REST APIs and GraphQL - Experience debugging complex distributed systems **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience with IPsec protocol and VPN testing - Familiarity with multi-cloud testing (AWS + Azure + GCP) - Knowledge of performance testing tools such as Locust, k6, JMeter - Exposure to BDD/Cucumber methodologies In addition to the technical aspects of the role, you will have the opportunity to learn about VPP (Vector Packet Processing) data plane testing, MCN networking architecture (AutoVPN, IPsec, BGP, SD-WAN), and building AI-powered test automation with MCP servers.
