Key Responsibility: - Work on the complete software development lifecycle from requirements to production - Design, develop, and maintain backend services and REST APIs primarily using Java and microservices architecture (Spring boot) - Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and product teams to deliver end-to-end features - Contribute to the development of cloud-native applications using AWS services - Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to maintain code quality - Support and enhance existing systems, including components built with Java and Spring Boot - Identify and fix bugs, performance bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities - Design database schemas and manage data using MongoDB/dynamo/nosql - Integrate AWS Kinesis or Kafka to enable real-time event streaming and communication - Implement best practices for CI/CD and cloud deployments - Monitor and troubleshoot production issues and optimize systems for speed and scalability Qualification Required: - Strong experience with Java and microservice architecture (Spring boot) - Solid grasp of RESTful API design, HTTP, and API integration - Hands-on experience with AWS ECS Fargate, NoSQL DB (preferred: MongoDB) and API Gateway - Knowledge in API security frameworks, token management, and user access control including OAuth, JWT, OpenAPI - Proficiency with Kafka/Kinesis for real-time messaging and event-driven systems - Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) - Familiarity with monitoring tools like New Relic or CloudWatch - Ability to work in an Agile / SCRUM environment - Strong problem-solving and debugging skills Additional Details of the Company: 7-Eleven Global Solution Center is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
