SFCC Developer

The Senior SFCC Developer position at our company involves being a part of the Enterprise eCommerce team and focusing on architecture, development, and optimization of the Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) platform. Your role will require expertise in headless commerce implementations, third-party integrations, and scalable backend solutions. Your Contribution: - Design and develop scalable solutions on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Headless architecture) - Implement and support headless commerce solutions using APIs (OCAPI, SCAPI) - Develop and maintain integrations with OMS, ERP, payment gateways, and other third-party systems - Build and enhance REST-based services and middleware integrations - Lead backend development for order lifecycle, promotions, catalog, pricing, and checkout flows - Implement custom cartridges, controllers, hooks, and job frameworks - Optimize performance across storefront and API layers - Collaborate with frontend developers to enable seamless headless storefront integrations - Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices in security, performance, and maintainability - Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment activities - Troubleshoot production issues and provide root cause analysis - Work closely with Product Owners, QA, Architects, and Integration teams to ensure end-to-end delivery Key Qualifications: - 56+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud development - Strong understanding of SFCC architecture, Business Manager, and order lifecycle management - Proven experience in headless commerce implementations - Hands-on experience with OCAPI, SCAPI, and custom API development - Strong experience integrating third-party systems (OMS, ERP, payment gateways, fraud tools, tax engines, shipping providers) - Solid knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), ISML, controllers, and cartridge architecture - Experience working with REST APIs and middleware integrations - Strong understanding of checkout customization and promotions engine - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git) - Familiarity with cloud-based deployment models and API-first architecture - Strong debugging and performance optimization skills - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills - Ability to work independently and take technical ownership of modules Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with multi-site, multi-currency, and global commerce implementations - Exposure to performance monitoring tools and logging frameworks - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills - Knowledge of SQL and relational databases Education: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field The Senior SFCC Developer position at our company involves being a part of the Enterprise eCommerce team and focusing on architecture, development, and optimization of the Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) platform.
