Senior Structural Engineering

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of junior structural engineers. You will mentor them and coordinate with the appointed Structural Engineering Consultant and Peer reviewer. Providing strategic direction, technical guidance, and conducting performance reviews for the structural team/ consultant will be crucial for achieving project success. Your role will involve managing structural engineering projects from concept to completion. This includes defining project scopes, creating budgets, scheduling tasks, and allocating resources effectively. Maintaining communication with clients, architects, contractors, and regulatory authorities throughout the project lifecycle is essential. You will ensure timely delivery of engineering designs, plans, and documents while upholding quality and cost standards. Additionally, conducting technical reviews, quality assurance checks, and risk assessments for ongoing projects will be part of your responsibilities. In terms of structural design and analysis, you will lead and review the development of structural designs for various types of structures. You will supervise the preparation of detailed engineering calculations, load assessments, and perform finite element analysis using software tools like ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, SAFE, and RCDC. Validating design assumptions and methodologies against international and local standards, as well as optimizing structural systems and materials, will be key aspects of your role. Client and stakeholder engagement are also vital components of this position. You will act as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders regarding structural matters. Participation in design charrettes, pre-construction meetings, and construction progress meetings is expected. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting technical reports, proposals, and recommendations to senior management through the appointed consultants. You will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of structural engineering projects, contributing to the overall success of the team and the company.
