Senior Software Engineer - Technology R&D

As a senior Software Engineer at Signant Health, you will be responsible for the product portfolio architecture. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing the overall system architecture, internal architecture of a component, communication protocols, and interfaces to other components - Researching and understanding marketing requirements for a product, target environment, performance criteria, and competitive issues - Helping and training fellow developers to work with new product components/modules and follow company coding practices and architectural guidelines - Conducting unit testing, integration testing, code and design reviews, bug verification, release testing, and support for assigned products - Ensuring product usability by designing user interfaces, creating use cases, implementing prototypes, and conducting usability tests - Preparing technical documentation of the product, creating user interface guidelines, and conducting reviews Preferred qualifications for this role include: - Minimum 5 years of software development experience with significant exposure to mobile development, including Flutter (required), native iOS, and Cordova experience (a plus) - Good experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and infrastructure as code (Terraform) - Additional languages, particularly Java/Kotlin/Go, are a plus - Full-stack experience is preferred - Solid understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture - Experience with CI/CD practices, version control systems, containers (Docker, EKS), and AI-led development practices Desired qualifications for this role include: - Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written, with the ability to articulate technical details succinctly - Willingness to share knowledge to advance organizational learning - Understanding the value of documentation in enabling high-quality R&D outcomes - Effective collaboration with cross-functional and multicultural teams If you are motivated by meaningful work, global impact, and innovation in clinical research and digital health, including cutting-edge AI technologies, you will find purpose and opportunity at Signant Health.
