Senior Software Development Engineer - Test

You will be working as a Senior Engineer - QA at VWO, responsible for ensuring the high quality of products used by over 2500+ customers across 90+ countries. You will work on various aspects of our products, including customer-facing applications, JavaScript libraries, and Mobile SDK. Your role involves constant monitoring of the application's quality, bug verification, designing and implementing automation tools, creating various test suites, collaborating with cross-functional teams, resolving client issues, and driving best practices in testing. Your responsibilities will include: - Ensuring high quality and awesome products. - Confirming and verifying bugs, and determining steps to reproduce. - Designing and implementing internal automation tools for QA. - Building test suites for front end, UI, API, load, performance, and UAT testing. - Collaborating with Product, Marketing, and Development Teams on projects. - Owning QA activities for the scrum team and driving test activities. - Being the first point of contact for client issues and ensuring timely resolution. - Managing deployment to test environments and driving best testing practices within the organization. - Contributing to open-source projects related to QA. Qualifications required for this role: - 2 to 6 years of experience in manual and automation testing. - Analytical ability to understand complex application architecture. - Proficiency in Functional Automation - Web/Mobile and API. - Knowledge of API testing and automation with Rest Assured. - Proficient in Automation Tools like Selenium / Protractor. - Experience in Performance/load testing with tools like Jmeter is a bonus. - Hands-on experience with GenAI Applications is an advantage. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and JavaScript. - Knowledge of testing backend platforms and client-side debugging. - Experience with maintaining QA infrastructures like Selenium Grid and Docker. - Familiarity with Version control tools like Git and CI tools like Jenkins. - Strong inclination towards usability and end-user perspective. - Ability to estimate and plan projects accurately and work independently with minimal direction.
