Senior Security Engineer

Role Overview: As a Senior Security Engineer at PubMatic, you will play a crucial role in strengthening the organization's cybersecurity posture through robust infrastructure, endpoint, and cybersecurity measures. Your expertise in Zero Trust implementation, cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP), and technologies like IDS/IPS, SIEM, WAF, and DLP will be essential. You will lead initiatives in vulnerability management, threat detection, incident response, and security automation, working closely with cross-functional teams to integrate security by design and conduct risk assessments. Key Responsibilities: - Deploy and manage security solutions in the field of Cyber Security, End-point Security, and Network Security. - Monitor security alerts and events, perform thorough analysis, and utilize advanced threat intelligence to proactively identify and mitigate potential security risks. - Develop and implement detection rules and signatures to enhance threat detection capabilities. - Manage intelligence requirements from internal stakeholders and continuously improve cyber threat intelligence processes. - Support Incident Response and Engineering teams during incidents, providing intelligence context and remediation recommendations. - Conduct security assessments, vendor risk management, and identify security issues and vulnerabilities. - Participate in security incident response efforts and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security practices into the infrastructure. - Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, conduct security awareness sessions, and participate in security campaigns. - Contribute to security policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines, and participate in audits and new business initiatives. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in engineering (CS / IT) or equivalent degree from well-known Institutes / Universities. - 8+ years of experience in Cyber Security, Infrastructure security. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency in using Python, Ruby, or Bash for automating security tasks. - Familiarity with AI security frameworks and certifications like CISA, Palo Alto, CrowdStrike, etc. are a plus.
