As a Senior Recruiter at Western Union based in Pune, India, you will play a crucial role in managing the recruitment process for full-time employees within the APAC region, primarily focusing on Leadership roles. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, including screening, interviewing, and recommending prospective employees based on qualification match and cultural fit.
  • Utilizing agency-style headhunting expertise to identify and engage top passive IT talent through market mapping, direct sourcing, and talent intelligence.
  • Developing and maintaining a highly qualified candidate pool using resources like LinkedIn Recruiter and other tools.
  • Ensuring progressive diversity and inclusion within the recruitment and selection process.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders and candidates to build trust at every connection.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, balancing speed with quality in decision-making.
  • Understanding the company strategy and articulating how the position connects to it.
  • Advising stakeholders on the recruiting environment influencing talent assessment and selection.
  • Driving the recruiting process through technology, time management, and organization.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive recruiting experience, with a significant focus on executive/leadership hiring in the IT industry.
  • Deep understanding of IT industry roles, emerging technologies, and organizational structures.
  • Proven track record of success in both agency/executive search firms and corporate/in-house hiring.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to establish credibility with leadership at various levels.
  • Expertise in headhunting, networking, and engaging passive leadership talent.
  • Strong analytical and research skills for talent mapping and market intelligence.
  • Demonstrated expertise in recruiting and hiring processes.
  • Strong negotiation, consulting, and communication skills.
