Senior React Native Engineer/Mobile Architect

As a highly skilled Senior React Native Engineer / Mobile Architect, you will play a crucial role in leading the design, architecture, and performance optimization of mobile applications. Your deep expertise in React Native, along with mobile performance optimization and engineering best practices, will be essential in mentoring teams and driving architectural decisions. Key Responsibilities: - Define and own the mobile application architecture, encompassing navigation, state management, data flow, module boundaries, and error handling. - Establish, enforce, and maintain engineering standards, including TypeScript usage, linting, formatting, testing practices, and commit conventions. - Own the native module strategy, focusing on Bridges, TurboModules, and JSI, while minimizing native code usage. - Set, monitor, and optimize performance budgets, covering Time to Interactive (TTI), bundle size, memory usage, and UI performance (jank), and conduct regular profiling. - Manage and enhance CI/CD pipelines, incorporating code signing, build flavors, release automation, and OTA updates using tools like CodePush. - Implement observability best practices, such as crash reporting, logging, analytics, feature flags, and A/B experimentation. - Lead architecture design reviews, RFCs, and technical discussions to drive scalable and maintainable solutions. - Mentor and guide engineers, fostering best practices and continuous technical improvement within the team. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Strong experience with React Native and TypeScript. - 5+ years of experience in a similar role. - Solid understanding of mobile application architecture and design patterns. - Hands-on experience with native modules for both iOS & Android. - Expertise in performance optimization and profiling. - Experience with CI/CD, release management, and OTA updates. - Familiarity with monitoring, analytics, and experimentation tools. - Strong communication skills and a proven track record in mentoring engineers.
