Senior Quality Assurance Analyst, Enterprise Data Services

As a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst in the Enterprise Data Services organization of our client, your role will involve testing data objects in relational and NoSQL databases, ETL processes, data pipelines, APIs, and BI/analytics assets, including Power BI dashboards. You will also be responsible for creating automation to streamline the testing process. **Key Responsibilities:** - Validate Power BI dashboards, including the semantic layer, DAX statements, and result consistency. - Test stored procedures, ADF pipelines, database structures & relationships. - Validate Microsoft Fabric objects & pipelines to ensure correct data movement and integrity. - Design, recommend, implement, and oversee automated test tools and strategies. - Develop, implement, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts. - Conduct manual and automated testing of various data objects and pipelines. - Perform API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or Rest Assured. - Identify, document, and report defects using Azure DevOps or ClickUp. - Collaborate with developers to improve code coverage and address data inconsistencies. - Define and document testing processes and procedures. - Communicate test results and status updates to project stakeholders and leadership. - Continuously enhance testing practices and techniques. - Participate in product design reviews and agile events to provide input on functional requirements. **Qualifications Required:** - Up-to-date knowledge of software test design, methodologies, tools, and techniques. - Experience in testing data-centric projects, BI/Analytics, and data management programs. - Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, MS Azure data services, and Azure DevOps. - Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. - Knowledge of Agile development methodologies is a plus.
