Senior Operation Manager

As a member of the GBAM Ops Tax & Control team at Bank of America, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality results on various mandates in partnership with other teams within Operations, Technology, and Finance. Your responsibilities will include: - Performing Tax Outreach related tasks assigned as part of Business-As-Usual (BAU) delivery - Collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for knowledge transfer, process documentation, and building controls for smooth BAU delivery - Supporting ad-hoc testing and validation requirements arising from system conversions - Creating and publishing Management Information System (MIS) reports to stakeholders, highlighting exceptions and risks - Proactively identifying and communicating business gaps, recommending controls for process streamlining - Ensuring Audit Readiness by updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and governance documents timely - Designing and streamlining Quality Audit methodology, Rebuttal & Training processes - Communicating upcoming technology changes/enhancements to leadership - Acting as a project coordinator for OpEx initiatives, reporting progress routinely - Having knowledge of Global Financial Markets and financial products across various asset classes - Demonstrating an eye for detail, procedure focus, and proficiency in Excel operations - Engaging with senior stakeholders, demonstrating good negotiation skills - Managing multiple concurrent activities and stakeholders effectively Qualification Required: - EducationQualification: MBA/Post Graduate in finance - Experience Range: 18-22 years of overall experience in Operations delivery Foundational Skills: - Strong people management capabilities - Leadership experience of 10+ years - Experience in US/International Tax Operations - Proficiency in Tax form solicitation, documentation, withholding, remittance, and reporting - Understanding of Front-to-Back Workflow - Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Desired Skills: - Project management skills - Tableau dashboard creation Work Timings: - 07:30 to 04:30 AM Job Location: - Chennai/Gurugram/Hyderabad Join Bank of America's GBAM Ops Tax & Control team to grow your career, make an impact, and contribute to Responsible Growth.
