Senior Native Mobile Engineer

You will be part of a brand new team working as a Senior Android and iOS Engineer, shaping the future Mobile Banking experience for customers. Collaborating with talented engineers, you will define, design, and develop new features for next-generation applications. Your responsibilities will include designing and developing top-notch applications for mobile platforms, unit-testing your code for robustness, usability, and reliability, and ensuring timely and scalable code optimization. Working closely with the product team, you will contribute to delivering high-quality mobile banking apps. Your key tasks will involve: - Analyzing and designing software solutions - Writing high-performing, scalable, reusable code - Implementing, testing, and technically documenting mobile banking solution features - Analyzing and resolving software defects - Ensuring optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of the mobile application - Actively participating in the development process - Proactively identifying bugs, documenting reproducible steps, and providing solutions Qualifications required for this role: - 7+ years of experience in mobile application development - Clear understanding of the full mobile development life cycle - Proficiency in modern stacks like Kotlin, Swift, SwiftUI, Kotlin Multiplatform - Experience with Kotlin Coroutines, Combine, Kotlin Flow, MVVM, Compose - Strong knowledge of software development practices, design patterns, and OOP principles - Understanding of Android or iOS concepts, user interface, data storage, encryption, security, and performance standards - Experience in integrating third-party libraries, SDKs, and REST APIs - Strong communication skills and experience in leading software developers - Agile processes experience - Analytical, solution-driven, detail-oriented, team player with a passion for driving change - Bachelor's/College Degree, Post Graduate Diploma/Master's Degree in relevant fields Avaloq promotes work-life balance through hybrid and flexible working arrangements for most employees to maintain a fantastic work culture in global offices.
