Job Description

As a Senior Manager - Sales & Business Development, you will play a crucial role in driving enterprise sales growth and expanding business opportunities within banks and insurance companies. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Driving end-to-end sales and business development for enterprise accounts
  • Identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities through consultative selling
  • Building and managing strong relationships with CXOs, senior stakeholders, and decision-makers
  • Developing and executing sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets
  • Leading solution discussions by understanding customer pain points and aligning them with technology offerings
  • Working closely with product, engineering, and delivery teams to design tailored solutions
  • Preparing and delivering compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches
  • Managing the complete sales lifecycle from lead generation to deal closure
  • Tracking pipeline, forecasts, and sales metrics
  • Representing the organization at client meetings, events, and industry forums

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Education:

  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering (mandatory)
  • MBA from a premier institute is a strong plus

Sales & Business Development:

  • Minimum 4 years of consultative sales experience
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong experience in enterprise sales, preferably in banking and insurance domains
  • Ability to engage in value-based selling and long-term relationship building

Technology & Domain Understanding:

  • Strong appreciation of technology and its business impact
  • Good understanding of big data analytics, machine learning, and personalization solutions
  • Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to business stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong work ethic with a results-driven mindset
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience selling analytics, AI/ML, SaaS, or digital transformation solutions
  • Prior exposure to large enterprise or BFSI clients

This role is based in Bangalore and requires an engineering background, experience in enterprise sales, SaaS sales, and working experience in MarTech companies or Enterprise SaaS.
