Job Description
Role Overview:
You will be part of the Wholesale Credit And Country Risk Reporting (WCCRR) RRSD Unit, providing support to the Group Risk Function and the CEO CIB Function. The unit handles various activities to support Enterprise Risk Analytics, Traded Risk Management, and Risk & Compliance Reporting teams. Additionally, the unit is expanding to support Credit Portfolio Management. Your role will involve preparing Country and Cluster Risk Information Reports, participating in Finrep reporting, and contributing to the STDF process. You will also assist in preparing customized decks to provide a holistic view of CCIB credit risk metrics across regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish appropriate controls within RRSD and deploy them effectively in GBS
- Communicate and pursue the strategic agenda for RRSD
- Assist in maintaining and developing RRSD's capabilities and infrastructure
- Guide automation efforts to improve processes within the unit
- Implement data quality Operational Risk Controls in BAU processes
- Ensure compliance with regulatory principles
- Enhance client experience through efficient monitoring of exceptions in collaboration with Risk and Front Office users
- Prepare WCCRR Monthly RIR packs using Finance and Risk infrastructure data
- Resolve queries and provide business support on the packs sent to CROs
- Participate in preparing various STDF templates and perform recon activities
- Review processes and EUC documents annually
- Prepare the monthly collateral file for Country RIR reporting
- Prepare Cluster Risk Information slides for specific clusters
- Source and process data for CCIBRC packs, including Risk Appetite metrics and other relevant information
- Prepare monthly Risk appetite metrics for senior management review
- Assist in driving the Country Risk agenda globally and monitoring Country risk
- Prepare Daily Limits breach reporting and investigation
- Ensure team diversity and attract superior talent
- Embed new Operational Risk framework into monitoring processes
Qualification Required:
- Post graduates / Professional qualification with 7/10/13 years of experience in Risk domain
- Risk Certifications from established institutions recommended
- FRM Certified candidates preferred
- Any technical Certification in MS Office Advanced tools / SQL / Tableau / SAS preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in SAS/ Python/ SQL
- Commendable people management skills
- Knowledge in banking products across asset classes
- Project management experience and documentation skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to implement strategic ideas and enhance productivity levels
