In the realm of Messaging and Protocols, your hands-on experience with JMS or message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, or EMS will be invaluable. You must have a strong understanding of message delivery semantics, including acknowledgements, transactions, redelivery, and selectors. Additionally, familiarity with wire protocols such as OpenWire, STOMP, MQTT, or similar protocol stacks will be highly beneficial.
Your strong ability to read, understand, and enhance large legacy Java codebases will be crucial in maintaining and improving our existing systems. Proven experience in diagnosing performance bottlenecks and production issues will allow you to ensure the seamless functioning of our messaging and distributed systems.
Having an open-source mindset will be advantageous, and prior open-source contributions will be viewed positively. Good written communication skills will be necessary for collaborating with open-source communities, such as Apache.
We prefer candidates with a Tier-1 university background and experience working in reputed product-based companies with medium to long-term tenure.
