Senior IT Security Engineer

Role Overview: As a member of the Digital Edge team, you will have the exciting opportunity to contribute to the company's growth and expansion across Asia. Reporting to the Senior Information Security Manager, you will play a crucial role in defining security policies and procedures, as well as developing controls to manage cyber security risks effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Design and maintain both on-premise and cloud information security solutions to meet enterprise IT requirements. - Conduct proactive security risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigations and countermeasures. - Identify and define system security requirements and stay updated on current and emerging technology issues related to security trends, vulnerabilities, and threats intelligence. - Act as an expert advisor to promote information security design practices, policies, and control frameworks throughout the company. - Implement and operate enterprise security solutions and infrastructures effectively. Qualifications Required: - A relevant University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or security products, including firewalls, IPS, EDR, and vulnerability scan tools. - Experience in the administration of Fortinet and Zscaler is essential. - Strong knowledge of information security technology concepts and the ability to communicate effectively with senior management and a wide range of technical and non-technical audiences. - Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK Framework is desirable. - Experience with information security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP) and enterprise architecture methods (e.g., SABSA, TOGAF, or Zachman) is an advantage. - Experience with application security requirements such as OWASP and ASVS is beneficial. - Knowledge of Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance practices. - Experience working with development teams to implement secure solutions in data center-related systems is desirable.
