Senior IT Developer

As an IT Developer at Medtronic, you will work alongside IT Business Analysts, Technologists, IT PM, and Business Lead in an Agile project fashion to enhance the eManuals platform with a focus on Oracle DB and Web Development. Your role will involve actively participating in design workshops, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring solutions are global and cross-functional. Good communication and collaboration skills are essential for success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Successfully implement Web Development activities, partnering with IT PM, IT BA, and business platform owner throughout the project life cycle. - Collaborate with IT BA, business partners, and end-users to understand business requirements, develop specifications, and enhance website functionality. - Translate functional specs into technical solutions and work on hands-on development as well as partnering with other teams. - Maintain documentation, including solution, functional specification, and architectural documents. - Plan, develop, and implement concepts that support the strategic objectives of the eManuals program. - Stay updated on industry best practices and apply them to Medtronic. - Ensure compliance with Medtronic's Information Protection Policies and Standards. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Web development or related field. - 5 years' experience as an IT Developer. - Proficiency in Java, JavaScript/J2EE, React/Angular, Next JS, Spring Framework, Hibernate framework, SQL, HTML, WebLogic, and/or Tomcat application server. - Experience with AWS Cloud hosting, Oracle RDS, Groovy/Grails, and other web design coding languages. - Ability to deliver end-to-end development of web applications. - Knowledge of Data Governance standards and data policies. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Experience in facilitating discussions with small to large groups.
