Senior IDMC Developer - ETL/SQL

As a Senior IDMC Developer, your role involves designing, building, optimizing, and supporting end-to-end data integration workflows using Informatica IDMC/IICS. Your responsibilities include: - Designing and developing IDMC/IICS mappings, taskflows, data synchronization tasks, and ingestion pipelines. - Implementing complex transformations like joins, lookups, aggregations, expressions, and CDC logic. - Building parameterized, reusable, modular ETL components following best practices. - Developing mass ingestion and real-time integration using Application Integration (API), CDI, CDC, and Mass Ingestion services. - Integrating various source systems including SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake, SAP, APIs, REST/SOAP services, flat files, and cloud storage (Azure/AWS/GCP). - Implementing data quality rules, validations, and exception handling using Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) & IDMC features. - Writing complex SQL, stored procedures, window functions, and analytical queries for transformation and validation. - Tuning IDMC mappings, pushdown optimization, partitioning, and performance troubleshooting. - Working with cloud platforms such as Azure/AWS/GCP for data ingestion, storage, and orchestration. - Implementing automation using REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment groups. - Performing unit testing, defect resolution, regression validation, and production readiness checks. - Working with cross-functional teams and providing technical guidance to junior developers. Your qualifications should include: - 6 to 10 years of experience in ETL development, with at least 4+ years in IDMC/IICS. - Hands-on expertise in Mapping Designer, Taskflows, Mass Ingestion, CDI, and Application Integration. - Strong expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL, query tuning, and indexing strategies. - Knowledge of DWH concepts like SCD (Type 1/2), Fact/Dim modeling, CDC, and partitioning. - Familiarity with DevOps/CI-CD pipelines, Git, and automated deployments. - Experience with Informatica Secure Agent installation, configuration, and maintenance. Your educational background should ideally include a Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Possessing an Informatica IDMC/IICS certification would be a plus.
