Job Description
As an FP&A Operations Financial Analyst at IFF, you will play a crucial role in turning operational data into strategic financial insights to boost productivity, reduce costs, and improve profitability across the global business. You will be part of the Global Operations Finance team within the Taste business, collaborating with Supply Chain, Operations, and Commercial teams to drive productivity, optimize costs, and support strategic decision-making.
**Role Overview:**
- Prepare detailed financial, economic, and statistical analyses to support operational performance and strategic decision-making.
- Track and consolidate productivity initiatives, ensuring accurate financial benefit measurement and reporting.
- Analyze operational KPIs and cost drivers to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across the Flavors division.
- Conduct cost benchmarking and variance analysis, recommending actions to improve P&L performance.
- Lead financial modeling for productivity, RSA reduction, and working-capital improvement projects.
- Support monthly and quarterly results reporting, including profitability analysis, commentary, and insights for senior leadership.
- Develop and enhance standard financial processes, reporting tools, and continuous improvement frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and audit requirements across Operations Finance.
**Qualifications Required:**
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management (or equivalent).
- +5 years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Controlling, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing Operations, ideally in a multinational environment.
- Strong financial and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret large data sets and translate them into clear insights and recommendations.
- Solid understanding of P&L dynamics, cost drivers, and working capital, with experience analyzing operational KPIs.
- Proven project management skills and ability to coordinate and influence cross-functional initiatives.
- High proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel (financial modeling, data analysis, dashboards); experience with ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate outputs.
