Senior Executive - Financial Accounting

Role Overview: At Bayer, you will be responsible for supporting the completion and timely execution of Accounting Operations in the area of General Ledger & Local statutory reporting for Bayer Group of Companies. Your main focus will be to contribute to the reliability of the books in your scope of responsibility, allowing certification by external auditors. Key Responsibilities: - Initiate creating and changing requests for GL accounts according to defined work procedures - Monitor and clear GL accounts - Monitor Journal Voucher requests - Provide accrual & provision tracking as per local book balances for WithHolding Tax compliance and reporting - Assist in coordinating with Group Actuary & HR Department for valuation of Long-Term Employee Benefit provision - Perform XBRL reporting for local statutory financials in specific format - Prepare quarterly/annual variation analysis - Liaise with Auditors on audit requirements - Collaborate with internal stakeholders on audit requirements - Assist in preparing a folder for board meetings Qualifications Required: - Chartered Accountant qualification with 1-2 years of working experience in the Accounting department, preferably in a manufacturing/marketing company - Sound knowledge of local GAAP and local laws for statutory reporting requirements - Basic knowledge of Subgroup specific related accounting practices - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Good knowledge of MS Office and related software - Experience with SAP is required - Fluent in English (writing and speaking) Role Overview: At Bayer, you will be responsible for supporting the completion and timely execution of Accounting Operations in the area of General Ledger & Local statutory reporting for Bayer Group of Companies.
