Senior Developer, GBS Intelligent Automation

Role Overview: As a Senior AI Developer at Boston Scientific, you will play a crucial role in delivering and expanding AI solutions to support informed business decisions. Your responsibilities will include partnering with various functions within the organization to design and implement solutions that optimize business processes. You will be expected to adhere to technical best practices, leverage agile principles, and contribute to the continuous improvement of AI initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Partner with business stakeholders to identify, design, and implement impactful AI solutions, such as AI agents, chatbots, NLP models, and predictive analytics. - Conduct feasibility assessments and design solutions for machine learning use cases, LLMs, RAG, agent orchestration, and automation. - Develop, test, and deploy AI models, pipelines, and integrations using Python, cloud services, and modern AI frameworks. - Serve as a technical mentor for AI projects, providing guidance on model development, architecture, coding standards, and best practices. - Collaborate with IT on infrastructure, data strategy, model hosting, security considerations, and integration with enterprise platforms. - Perform AI-specific risk assessments related to privacy, data protection, model bias, explainability, and responsible AI controls; work with Legal and Cybersecurity teams to document risks and mitigation strategies. - Engage in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimation, and daily standups. - Ensure compliance with development standards, documentation requirements, testing protocols, and governance processes for AI solutions. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. - Experience with cloud platforms like Azure and/or AWS, including AI/ML services. - Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Hugging Face, LangChain, or similar. - Strong understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and LLM-based applications. - Proficiency in Python and modern development practices like version control, APIs, containers, CI/CD. - Excellent analytical, technical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into solution designs. - Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey complex technical concepts. - Demonstrated ability to collaborate across diverse teams and thrive in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities. - Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
