Role Overview:
As a Senior Compliance Specialist at Wells Fargo, you will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining risk standards and programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, agency, legal, and regulatory requirements. Your role will involve overseeing the Front Line's execution and appropriately addressing compliance-related decisions. Additionally, you will provide oversight and monitoring of risk-based compliance programs, develop standards, and offer subject matter expertise within your business area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide compliance risk expertise and consulting for projects and initiatives with moderate risk
- Monitor reporting, escalation, and timely remediation of compliance issues
- Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Work with complex business units, rules, and regulations on moderate risk compliance matters
- Interpret policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Qualifications Required:
- 4+ years of Compliance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
