Job Description

As a Senior Analyst in Brand Analytics at AstraZeneca, you will play a crucial role in driving strategic and operational excellence within the Commercial Organization. Your responsibilities will include acting as an internal consultant to a specific brand team, crafting data-driven commercial solutions, coordinating the understanding of various datasets, and implementing analytical solutions for business opportunities and customer segmentation. Collaboration with various departments such as Marketing, Medical, Market Access, Sales, Forecasting, and other Commercial Operations partners is essential to build innovative analytical practices that sustain competitive advantage. **Key Responsibilities:** - Continuously evaluate new quantitative analysis methods and technologies - Develop a deep understanding of internal customers' data needs - Collaborate with US Sales Force Operations for successful business processes - Lead the development and deployment of new analytic capabilities across the organization - Instill a culture of continuous improvement - Summarize and present findings through various communication channels to drive impactful business decisions **Qualifications Required:** - Quantitative Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Engineering, Operations Research, Management Science, Economics, Statistics, Applied Math, Computer Science, or Data Science - Advanced degree preferred (Masters, MBA, or PhD) - 2+ years of experience in Pharmaceutical / Biotech / Healthcare analytics or secondary data analysis - 5+ years of experience in applying sophisticated methods and statistical procedures on large datasets - Proficiency with PySpark, Python, R, SQL - Familiarity with platforms like DataBricks - Competency in data visualization tools such as PowerBI, MicroStrategy, Tableau, Qlikview, D3js, or similar - Proficiency in MS Office products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint - Experience in manipulating and extracting insights from large longitudinal data sources - Familiarity with IQVIA data sets - Ability to derive, summarize, and communicate insights from analyses - Strong organization and time management skills - Expertise in handling and analyzing large, secondary transactional databases - Statistical analysis and modeling background - Familiarity with Machine Learning algorithms - Statistical Analysis & Modeling skills including Experiment Building, Time Series, Regression, Applied Econometrics, and Bayesian methods - Data Mining, Predictive Modeling, and Machine Learning expertise - Optimization & Simulation skills At AstraZeneca, you'll be part of a dedicated distributed team that leverages exciting technology and digital innovations to accelerate the evolution of the enterprise.
