Security Engineer-2

As a Security Engineer at our global climate technologies company, you will play a crucial role in building and supporting the Copeland Product Security Program. Your responsibilities will include consulting on and testing security strategies with product development teams. Here's what you will do: - Perform product security testing and reporting, including tasks like black box reverse engineering of hardware and firmware, vulnerability research, exploit development, fuzz testing, and protocol reverse engineering. - Conduct manual penetration testing on various platforms such as mobile applications (iOS & Android), web applications, cloud infrastructure, and network systems. - Facilitate threat modeling with Copeland application, infrastructure, and product teams. - Provide security training and outreach to internal development teams. - Analyze and evaluate security in ICS/OT environments related to product manufacturing. - Evaluate both hardware and software supply chains for security risks. - Maintain documentation and metrics for the product security programs services. In the Copeland Product Security department, we focus on ensuring the security of our products and protecting our clients from cyber threats. We are looking for individuals with experience in Operational Technology (OT)/ICS SCADA/IOT security who are interested in integrated security operations and adversary emulation. Minimum Qualifications: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in embedded systems and IoT security, red teaming, or penetration testing. - Experience in security testing of embedded hardware, ability to identify and manipulate debug interfaces, and binary reverse engineering using tools like IDA Pro, Binary Ninja, Ghidra, etc. - Experience in Red Team exercises, fuzz testing of industrial communication protocols, and understanding of secure libraries. - Knowledge of embedded Linux, network/web/industrial-related protocols, and strong communication skills. - Analytical skills with a sense of ownership, urgency, and drive. Preferred Qualifications: - Understanding of cloud solutions supporting IoT and Edge computing environments. - Experience with programming languages like Python, C#, C/C++, Ruby, Assembly, etc. - Knowledge of OT network monitoring, OT adversary emulation, and cybersecurity policies related to ICS/SCADA.
