As a SAP BI And Analytics - BW Lead at EY, you will play a crucial role in designing and optimizing data warehousing and reporting solutions. Your responsibilities will include: - Architecting and designing end-to-end data solutions on SAP Datasphere, encompassing data integration, modelling, semantic layer creation, and consumption layer enablement. - Developing complex data models and transformations using SAP Datasphere capabilities such as Data Builder, Business Builder, Semantic Modelling, Views, and Pipelines. - Leading data ingestion from SAP and non-SAP sources by leveraging SAP Datasphere connectors, Data Marketplace, replication flows, and integration services. - Designing and implementing Data Governance frameworks including lineage, metadata, cataloguing, data quality checks, and security roles within Datasphere. - Defining and optimizing data pipelines to ensure high performance, scalability, and adherence to best practices for ELT/ETL within Datasphere. - Collaborating with functional teams and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into logical and physical data models. - Integrating SAP Datasphere with downstream analytics tools like SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Power BI, Tableau, and non-SAP BI platforms. - Leading code reviews, enforcing engineering standards, and mentoring junior developers on SAP Datasphere design patterns, modeling techniques, and performance tuning. - Managing project delivery, including work planning, backlog prioritization, sprint execution, risk mitigation, documentation, and stakeholder communication. - Staying updated on the SAP Datasphere roadmap and recommending new features, innovations, and best practices to enhance data architecture and analytics capabilities. Your skills and attributes should ideally include good knowledge in SAP cutting-edge technologies like SAP Datasphere, SAP BDC, and exposure to any SAP reporting tool such as SAC, AFO, or BOBJ.
