Role Overview:
As a Sales Manager for Grid Integration in the GPQSS Zone West at Hitachi Energy, based in Mumbai, you will play a crucial role in securing orders for Grid Integration solutions within the Zone to meet business targets and strategies. Your responsibilities will include generating inquiries, promoting GPQSS offerings, collaborating with various teams, developing winning strategies, and supporting the bidding process until contracts are finalized.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify target customers, projects, and EPCs in India to exceed sales targets
- Ensure technical and financial aspects of offers are appropriate, including pricing and trading conditions
- Develop and implement a clear sales strategy for Grid Integration solutions in India
- Build and maintain relationships with customers and consultants through value-based selling and discussions on winning strategies
- Work on pushing new applications through Webinars, Workshops, and Meetings
- Define key targets and ensure they are achieved for the segments/markets
- Activate operational intelligence to identify best practices and ensure detailed business/sales plans are in place
- Prioritize major accounts in the segment(s) and build strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Prepare and support the team in pursuing and managing large project contracts
- Uphold Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity
Qualifications Required:
- Education: Minimum B.E. / B Tech Electrical / Electronic Engineering
- Skills: Strong knowledge of Transmission & Distribution offerings, technical sales skills, negotiation skills, and communication skills
- Experience: 7-10 years in Sales/Engineering/PM function of HV Substations
- Results orientation with a drive to exceed goals and improve business practices for higher performance levels
