SaaS Integration & Security Automation Engineer

Role Overview: As a SaaS Integration & Security Automation Engineer at BluOcean Cyber, you will be responsible for designing and building secure, scalable integrations at the intersection of SaaS security and automation. Key Responsibilities: - Build Secure Integrations: Develop robust Python-based API integrations with critical security platforms such as SSPM, SIEM, SOAR, and GRC tools. - Develop Scalable APIs: Design, build, and maintain scalable REST APIs and webhook integrations using modern frameworks like FastAPI or Flask. - Engineer Security Automation: Create automated remediation workflows and security orchestration logic to streamline incident response and hardening. - Implement Authentication: Design and implement secure authentication flows, including OAuth2, JWT, and API key management for internal and external integrations. - Build Data Pipelines: Develop scalable connectors and services to ingest, normalize, and process security telemetry data from diverse SaaS and cloud sources. - Integrate AI-Assisted Workflows: Build and integrate LLM-powered automation for intelligent issue triage, analysis, and prioritization, while ensuring human oversight for key decisions. - Embed Security in the SDLC: Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define API security and SaaS integration standards, conduct security reviews, and drive post-incident hardening. Qualifications Required: - 3+ years of qualified experience in Cyber Security, specifically combining Product Security, Python API development, and SaaS Integration. - Strong Python development experience is essential. - Proven experience building and consuming REST APIs using frameworks like FastAPI or Flask. - Solid understanding of API design principles, webhooks, and event-driven architectures. - Experience integrating with third-party APIs and building secure, reliable connectors. - Hands-on experience with Docker and Git-based CI/CD workflows. - Experience working with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
