Job Description
As a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Architect/Consultant at EY, you will be at the forefront of modern IT Operations, leveraging software engineering principles to enhance service delivery and minimize IT risk. Your role will focus on designing and implementing SRE solutions to elevate the maturity levels of IT organizations and drive business resilience. You will play a crucial part in optimizing the cost of IT infrastructure and operations while ensuring predictability, reliability, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define SLA/SLO/SLI for products/services
- Incorporate resilient design practices into solutions throughout the product lifecycle
- Implement Observability Solutions for tracking and measuring SLA adherence
- Automate manual processes to reduce toil and enhance efficiency
- Optimize IT infra and operations cost through FinOps practices
Qualifications Required:
- 12+ years of experience in software product engineering
- Proficiency in Java/J2EE, web servers, application servers, and major RDBMS
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD and IaC tools
- Familiarity with cloud technologies, reliability tools, and observability tools
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems, web services, and RESTful architectures
- Experience in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and automation scripting
- Proficiency in collaborative software development tools
